Totally Necessary...........

I don't even like coffee but I'm pretty sure I will soon become the proud owner of one of these FAB espresso mugs. They almost provide a good enough reason to put my tastebuds through hell, looking that pretty. Life is miserable enough, generally speaking, if you need a shot of coffee you are probably in need of a quick pick me up, even just looking at these beauts is enough to get the energy running through your cells.

Probably should calm myself, think I've just been reminded of Harry Potter's Golden Snitch and got a little over excited. I could buy all colours and have them as shot glasses, maybe buy one to put something little and precious in and find a shelf for it to be admired on. I'm even wondering if they would be suitable egg cups. Whilst I go gaga trying to convince myself I need these in my life, check them out here at www.pylones.com where you can order online or follow this link for stockists in the UK. :)

For the little ones..

These are just some examples of what's still available in the Zara Home Sale for kiddies. I think these are great and the fact they are in the sale is just a bonus, that little zip bag with the kitten on it? I'm eye balling as a potential (super cute) make up bag.. swoon.

Cool Cubic

Cubic- your next port of call when it comes to gifting! There is pretty much a gift on this website for everyone, including kiddies. I am not always impressed with modern design-led gifting as I find most things to be useless but just interesting to look at. On cubic's website however, there are so many cool, cute and funny gifts on offer that the receiver will probably use. Also, at the moment, (I'm not sure whether or not this is a permanent thing) 15% of all sales on the site go to the Cat's Protection charity, lovely.
Check it out here.

Wow Wilkinson!

I rarely go in Wilkinson, maybe for the odd dog treat or some toiletries, but over Christmas I was having a wander around and came across some fabulous stationary pieces that were right up my street. I was really impressed, not just at the design but the quality and price (items start at less than £1). My favourite item has to be the clock print fabric covered book which tied with a ribbon, it really was nice and you would have never have guessed it came from Wilkinson. Also there are the odd home decor items worth checking out as well. So next time you are passing a Wilkos, have a nosey....or click here for the stationary, or here for the love blocks and here for the pillow. :)

Elegant Fun

OK, so Christmas has been and gone but maybe you have a long list of birthdays on your calendar to contend with. Your bank balance, therefore, isn't going to be able to have the rest it may need just yet. Well fear not if I've just described your situation, because I have found a lovely elegant gift for you to give to a special friend and it won't break the bank, although you will probably want one for yourselves so be careful...

Super sweet right? I think my favourite is the mouse...or the elephant...or maybe the cat. But £7.99? Bargain! :) They are from a brand called Zoola whom I don't know much about, but I think they are great, and I doubt something like this will go unwanted. Maybe your friend has just got engaged and is terrified of loosing her ring but needs somewhere to put it when she bathes, washes up or does the gardening.  Get them here at Strawberry Fool. ALERT Vintage Style Lovers

This brand is one of my favourites in the world, I used to stock it in my shop too. Clayre and Eef is based in the Netherlands, making it quite hard to get hold of in the UK, but don't worry I have come to the rescue. Starting out in 1994 and evolving into the Clayre and Eef we see today in 2005; this company know exactly how to do Shabby Chic Vintage. Just visiting their website makes you ooh and ahh at all the pretty stock (clayre-eef.com) and luckily for you they have a webshop :) even better.....I've found lots of their wonderful creations on Amazon too (woohoo!!). *Click here to view their stock on Amazon*.

Not only do they do vintage-style ornamental items and gifts but they are quite famous for their linens such as patchwork bedding and  lace trimmed table cloths, they have also released a range of kitchenware for children (check out the oven mitt above- bless).

Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional....

You reach a certain age (18ish I reckon) and it suddenly becomes dead cool to be a complete geek. You go through school and college trying to fit in with everyone else and have all the right things and then you grow up a little and hit 18 or your early twenties...and end up being more immature. I'm 24 nearly 25 and the excitement I had when I saw these is kind of embarrassing. The thought of having Mickey and friends back in my life just gives me that warm fuzzy feeling inside..and the fact that the arms move on some of the watches? ACE! Also the Sleepy Dwarf watch reminds me of Swatch watches and I actually have an old Swatch watch from the 90's with a little man who's arms moved like Mickey's.. so I bet you can guess what I'll be hunting high and low for tonight!

Sleepy watch and the round face Mickey Mouse watch are available at Newlook.com (I think they are online exclusives). The other three (Goofy, Mickey and Winnie) are available at the Disneystore.co.uk. Follow the links provided here or you can click above on the links by the pictures to take you directly to them. :)
